Something awesome in fashion is the constant evolution & permanent novelties. One of our crush during the Fashion Week Haute-Couture was the phantasmagorical & atypical style of Coppélia Pique ♥

Axelle Migé, créatrice de Coppélia Pique, a présenté sa collection Haute-Couture Automne-Hiver 2013-2014 en collaboration avec le sculpteur Paul Toupet. Ses créations géométriques & romantiques sont inspirées de la prophétie de Padmasambhava. Plus connu sous le nom de Guru Rinpoché, il fut le fondateur du Bouddhisme tantrique Himalayen & sa prophétie était: "Lorsque l’oiseau de métal volera & que les chevaux iront sur des roues…"

Axelle Migé, designer of Coppélia Pique, has presented her collection Haute-Couture Fall-Winter 2013-2014 in collaboration with the sculptor Paul Toupet. Her geometric & romantic designs are inspired from the Padmasambhava’s prophecy. Better known as Guru Rinpoché, he was the founder of the Himalayan tantric Buddhism & his prophecy was: "When the iron bird will fly & the horses will gallop on wheels..."

Imaginant un grand oiseau de papier voyageant aux dessus des limbes & des montagnes glacées puis se transformant en métal brillant pour un retour aux mondes spirituels, la créatrice a développé une collection futuriste & enchanteresse. Si la mythologie guide les émotions des silhouettes & la poésie les structure, on est hypnotisé par le côté métaphorique de cette ligne théâtrale. Surprenant & magnifique!

Imagining a big paper bird travelling above limbos & icy mountains before transforming into glittering metal for a return to the spiritual worlds, the designer has developed a futuristic & enchanting collection. If the mythology guides the emotions of the figures & the poetry structures them, we’re hypnotized by the metaphoric side of this theatrical line. Surprising & beautiful!
